Cranial Osteopathy
Cranial osteopathy is a
gentle yet effective approach, which maybe used to treat all ages from
birth to old age. It is based on the work of the founders W.G.
Sutherland and A.T Still. A very light and subtle touch is used to
restore the balance of the movement of cranial bones and fluids of the
body to restore health and induce profound relaxation. Cranial
osteopathy enables us to help treat a wide range of conditions including
certain cases of glue ear, dizziness, stress, insomnia, headaches,
migraines, depression, exhaustion, learning difficulties, back pain and
the effects of difficult or prolonged deliveries in babies and children.
Children and babies experiencing problems such as colic, crying,
sleeping and feeding difficulties, and behavioural disorders can also be
helped. Osteopathic and spinal conditions for which other osteopathic
techniques would be inappropriate can also be treated cranially. It can
also be used to improve general health and well-being.
