OsteoMedica is an osteopathic medical centre based in Nicosia, Cyprus founded in January 2008.

The founder of OsteoMedica Mrs Evanthia Themistocleous Rossos fully qualified in 2003 from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London. She then continued further postgraduate studies in Cranial and Paediatric Osteopathy attaining an MSc In Paediatric Osteopathy from the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London.

Her work experience in London includes being the founder and principal osteopath of OsteoMedica London, a multidisciplinary complementary medical centre. Being a member of the only osteopathic department in the UK, NHS, part of the Chelsea & Kensington Trust. Treating at the Royal Marsden Hospital within the occupational health department. She also spent two years at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London and assisted in treating premature infants in the Neonatal Unit of Barnet Hospital. In 2007 she attended the course and training of the Dr Cox technique specialising in disc pathologies. She is continuously keeping updated with all the new developments of the profession and always attends various courses to continually further her knowledge, skills and experience.

The initial contact with OsteoMedica begins with a consultation which includes a complete health check and treatment if appropriate. The consultation, along with discussions with the patient, helps to pinpoint the areas that need most attention and aids in focusing the appropriate types of treatment to the relevant areas. By utilizing this process and identifying possible problems early, the treatment can be more effective. If treatment is not appropriate then the necessary referrals will be made by the consulting practitioner.
